Where can I see a list of late fees?

Horse Cave Free Public Library does not have late fee.  We appricate our patrons and strive to provide free checkout services. We depend on the trust our patrons have in us and therefore, we trust our patrons to return the books to the library in a timely manner.

How many items can I check out at once?

   Each patron is allowed three books each.  Each book checkout is for twenty-five days. NEW PATRONS are allowed to check out one book at a time for the first two times and if they are returned in good shape and timely manner, they can go to three. 

How do I sign up for a library card?

New potential patrons will be required to have ID or Drivers Licenses.  If these do not have the correct current address, a proof of address will be required.  This can include a utility bill of some kind. Children my get a card but only with a parent or guardian and the required information from above.  Children as young as five can get a card.
